Gutters and Downspouts
The most common gutter we install is the K-style gutter, which is what is commonly found on most homes, however, other types and styles of gutters are available for both residential and commercial applications. Moving water away from your home or business is the main reason you need gutters. If you need to move a lot of rain or melting snow off of a flat top roof, you will also need a particular type of downspout that allows the fast drainage of water.
Gutters are available in several styles. Besides K-style gutters, which comes in many colors, there are half-round styles as well, though half round styles do not have the capacity of the k-style, but are more pleasing ascetically. Made from materials such as aluminum, copper, seamless aluminum, steel, vinyl and zinc. With steel being the strongest type of gutter, seamless aluminum will cut down on the possibility of leaks in seams. Vinyl gutters are the least expensive, but are also offered in fewer colors, and this type is subject to fading over time. Zinc and copper do not need to be painted, provide a beautiful architectural look to your home, and will develop a beautiful patina over time, adding value and appeal to your home or business.
